We are passionate about pupils having a meaningful say in the life of the school. Pupils all take part in either the Pupil Council (chaired by Mrs Wheatley) or the Eco Council (chaired by Ms Knust). Children who are in their year of transition into P1 are also invited to join these groups. Meetings take place regularly and the minutes are displayed on notice boards in the corridor. The Pupil Council is also the steering group for the Rights Respecting Schools Award. Activities include organising charity events, taking part in self-evaluation to improve the school, and representing pupil views to the staff. The Eco committee takes forward learning for sustainability in the school, and maintains our Green Flag status.
